FISHING LAUNCH MISSING.

LYTT ELTON MEN ON BOARD. LAST SEEN IN DIFFICULTIES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] CHRISTCHtTRCH, Monday The launch Dauntless, of Lyttelton, was seen in difficulties off Little Pigeon Bay, near Pigeon Bay, yestefday. The vessel was then under sail and was making little headway. Two Lyttelton men, Messrs. J. McNeill and A. McLeod. were using the vessel for a week-end fishing trip. No information of their whereabouts has been received, and it is feared a tragedy may have occurred. The master of the John Anderson, which passed over the course this morning, saw no signs of the launch. Yesterday morning Mr. H. GrenneU, of Port Levy, who was on his way to Lyttelton, passed a boat making for Pigeon Bay. It seemed to he in good order.
