MAINTENANCE IN ARREARS.
TOTAL OF OVER £2OO OWING. fBY TELEGRAPH.—TOESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. Two years ago maintenance orders were made against George do L. Roach for the support of his wife and children, and soon afterwards he left tho country. The orders were not obeyed, with tho result that there are arrears amounting to £212 on out) and £25 on another. Roach returned to New Zealand, and appeared before Mr. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day, charged with disobedience of tho orders. He pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to six months' imprisonment; warrant to bo suspended provided he pays 5s a week off the arrears plus current payment, £2 5s a week in all.
