SEAPLANES IN NAVY.
LAUNCHING FROM CATAPULTS SUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENTS. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Sun. PARIS. Oct. 8. The British cruiser Memphis, which is visiting Cherbourg, has successfully conducted experiments in launching seaplanes from catapults mounted on a platform placed beside the fourth funnel.
