AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. BUSINESS CONTINUES DULL. Business was again dull at the single call on the Auckland sharemarket on Saturday morning. In Government securities, offers for both Soldiers' Bonds and Inscribed advanced, the former by 5s and the latter by 25.6 d,' to £IOO 10s. No sellers disclosed themselves." In banks New South Wales were done at £45 7s 6d, or 2s 6d better than the last previous sale. More were available at £45 15s, but there were no offers. New Zealand rights wero wanted at 5a 6d, closing offers ou Friday being at 4s 6d. The shdres were not quoted. Holders of Unions wero slightly easier at £ls ss, buyers unchanged at £ls Is. In insurance Nationals had sale at 80s the current price. More were wanted at Y9s, but no sellers quoted: Other classes wero unchanged with the exception that New Zealand holders withdrew Friday's quotation of 40s. In miscellaneous buyers of Electrolytic Zinc, both the ordinary and preference issues, wero firmer at 36s and 37s respectively. Holders of the latter were disclosed at 40s. Offers, for Henry Jones Co-op. advanced frotn 48s 6d to 49s 3d, but no sellers quoted. The following sales took place:—Bank of Now South Wales, £45 7s 6d; National Insurance, 80s.

A tender for £50,000 has been accepted for the building of now premises for the Duncrlin Evening Star Company, in Stuart Street, near the railway station. Tho new building will bo nf four storeys, and will bo constructed in brick arid reinforced concrete. WOLSELEY SHEEP SHEARING CO. DIVIDEND OF 5 PER CENT. Tho Wolscloy Sheep Shearing Machine Company, Ltd., has issued its accounts for the twelve months ended December last. A loss was sustained for 1920, 1021 and 1922, but for 1924 the company made a net profit of £7623, and payment of dividends was resumed, shareholders receiving 5 per cent. Last year tho net profit was nearly doubled, amounting to £15,033. An interim divided of per cent, was paid during 192i>, and for -the second half of the year the dividend is 5 per cent. Tho sum of £SOOO has beon added to the reserve fund, and with £13,035 brought in there will bo £15,568 to carry forward. Issued capital is £IOO,OOO. There was a mortgage on the works of £4OOO, and at tho date of the balance-sheet the reserve fund was as-.against £SOOO earlier^
