THE OHAKUNE CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] OHAKUNE. Saturday. The report and balance-sheet presented at the animal meeting of the Railway Tennis Club showed a very satisfactory financial position, and prospects of a good membership for the coming season. It was decided to proceed immediately with tha preparations for a new court, and to extend the seating accommodation round the court. The opening day was fixed for October IS. TE PUKE CLUB'S GOOD YEAR. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE PUKE, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the Te Puko Tennis Club. Mr. W. E. Hookey presided. The annual report and balance-sheet, showed a very successful year's working. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron Mr. R. Kins: president. Air. Cr. E. Murphy: vice-presidents. Messrs 1. H Wilson, A. J. Petrie and T. E. Palmer, secretary Mr. J. Mason: committee. Mesdames Cashmoro. Butcher Budd Misses Bell and Kmc. Messrs. Hookej. H. Moll L'tiard, Couper. Chapman and Mason. Twenty-two now members were elected. Mr C C Chalmers was appointed delegate to the' Auckland Association, and Mr. Suckling. of Whakutane. delegate to the Bay of Plenty Association. It was decided to open the courts on Labour Day. OFFICERS AT PATETONGA. [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORKESPONPENT.] MORRINSVILLE. Saturday. The annual meeting of the Patotonga Tennis Cltib was well attended. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £25 was made to the Domain Board, and a pavilion to cost £BO will bo erected.
