MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Minister of Labour, the Hon. G. J. Anderson, will arrive from Wellington this morning to perform the official opening of the new clubhouse of the Auckland Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association, and to fulfil two other engagements. The ceremony at the club will take place at 2.30 this afternoon. The Minister is to open a new post office at Kaukapakapa on Monday, and on Tuesday will confer with the Auckland Unemployment Committee. He will probably leave for Wellington on Tuesday evening. The Hon. K. S. Williams, Minister of Public Works, visited Arapuni yesterday. returning to Okoroire* last evening. To-day he will visit Te Aroha aha will be present at the unveiling of the Herries Memorial. ■ The week-end will be spent at Okoroire, and on' Monday the Minister will proceed to Rotorua. From thero _ho.. wiU:.: go ....to.™: Whakatane: on Tuesday and thence to .Qpotiki on Wednesday. On Thursday Mr. Williams will be in Gisborne. As the condition of the roads prevents speedv traveling tilts' Minister will be unable to spend all the time he desires in visiting Tauranga and the East Coast railway, and the visit to this area will be deferred until another occasion. The Minister of Lands, Hon; A. D. sMcLeod, will visit Papakura next Thursday. He will leave Auckland in the morning and visit Otahuhu and other | towns en route. He will be entertained j to luncheon at Papakura and in the after- < noon will set the tqwn board's water- ; filtration plant in operation. The Minisj ter will then proceed to Pukekohe. '
