A SPEEDY MOTORIST.
THREE RECORDS BROKEN. AN ENGLISH DRIVER'S SUCCESS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 7. The spectacle of Mr. Parry Thomas, the famous English motorist, roaring around tho Brooklands race track at a speed of two miles a minute, for hour after hour thrilled hundreds of spectators. Mr. Thomas made a successful endeavour to regain the records which had been won by France. After driving for six hours he left his car. Ho was considerably fatigued. He had broken three records. The 500 miles record was broken by five seconds, the 1500 kilometres by six seconds and the three hours' driving record by a margin of seconds.
