PAPAKURA SPORTS CLUBS.
SHOOTING AND CHOPPING. The Papakura Sports and Gun Clubs met on Thursday evening, Mr. E. C. Footo presiding. Mr. E. D. McLennan, M.P., was present. Tho secretary, Mr. J. Rea, reported that all matters in connection with the forthcoming ehopping carnival and clay pigeon competition were well advanced and a trial shoot would he held next week at Prince Edward Park. Officials for the Labour Day carnival were appointed and tho executive, Messrs. ,T. Roa and E. (J. Foote, and the (lev. W. C. Wood, was given power to act.
