Outer Domain, 2 p.m. ROAD CYCLING. 5i Miles junior time trials at Mangere. LEAGUE FOOTBALL. CHALLENGE MATCH TO-DAY. NORTHERN UNION CUP. The final representative League game of the season will be played at Carlaw Park this afternoon between South Auckland and Auckland for the Northern Union Challenge Cup. The challengers have chosen a strong side, and although beaten by the local team on numerous occasions previously can be depended upon to provide a good display. The Auckland team lias plenty of pace, % and some the most promising young plavers who have shown excellent form lately are making their first, appearance in a representative game. The teams are:— South Auckland.—Fullback, G. Ravnor; ihreequarters, G. Paki, Everest. Smith; five-eighths, Whorsbv, Miller; halfback, Davies: forwards, Stevenson, Metcalfe, Allen. L. Bull and f. McCowatt will be the line umpires. LAWN TENNIS. CAMPBELL PARK CLUB, Nine full-size chip courts have recently been formed by the Campbell Park Tennis Cluh, Green Lane, which has removed from its old situation. The pavilion has been transferred nni! enlarged to three times its previous size, while the increase in the number of courts from four to nine will enable more members to, be admitted. The club js now the second largest hard court club in Auckland, Northcote. with 10 courts, being the largest. It. is intended to play throughout the year. The official opening will be held on Saturday, October 23. HERALD CLUB. The annual meeting of the Herald Club will bo held on the first floor of the Herald office on Monday next at 5 p.m. CRICKET. THE AKARANA CLUB. A meeting of the newly-formed Akarana Cricket Cluh was held in the clubrooms on Tuesday, Mr. W. W. Luke presiding. The following officers were . elected : Patron, Mr. F. A.
