TIMBER FROM BUNBURY, The West Australian Hardwood Company advises that its chartered steamer Clan Macneil left Bunbury last Saturday with a cargo of jarrah for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton npd Dunedin. Of the total cargo 780,000 ft. is for this port. The _ vessel is expected to arrive here about Friday next. RUSSELL WHARF CLOSED. The Bay of Islands Harbour Board advises through the Government Gazette that owing to wharf-c.onstruct.ion the wharf at Russell has been closed to shipping. Due notice will bo given of the date when tho wharf is to be opened again. THE WAINUI TO RESUME. The Union Company's steamer Wainui, which is undergoing overhaul at Prince's Wharf, is to bo recommissioned in the East Coast service next week. She will leave Auckland at 5 o'clock on Tuesday evening for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne and Napier. WEST ISLIP SAILING TO-DAY. The American steamer West Islip, which has been unloading cargo _ from Pacific Coast, Canadian and American ports at Prince's Wharf, is expected to sail at noon to-day for Dunedin and Bluff to continue discharge. The vessel loaded at Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool and cleared tho latter port on August 28. On September 7 the vessel was struck by an easterly gale and was obliged to heave-to for 12 hours. Moderate weather was encountered for tho remainder of the voyage to Curacao, which was reached on September 11. Hero tho oil bunkers were replenished and departure was taken the same day for Colon, which was made' on September 13. ULIMAROA TO SAIL AT 11 A.M. The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa is timed to Jeave Central Wharf at 11 o'clock this morning with passengers, mail and cargo for Sydney. Sho is due at Sydney on Tuesday.
