BROADCASTING

Sir, —On Sunday evening last I was very mucl®disappointed when, upon tuning in upon my radio, I discovered that , the service at St. Mary's Cathedral, Parnell, was not being broadcasted by station IYA as announced in Saturday's lleralo. We were looking forward with great interest to hearing this service, as this is the first occasion on which an Anglican service was to have beeu relayed by the Auckland station. Was the arrangement to broadcast the Methodist meeting made at the eleventh hour?. If so, why? 1 think, with many others, that the Broadcasting Company should endeavour to keep as near as possible to ts advertiesd programmes. Disappointed Backblocker.
