TAURANGA BOROUGH.
HOSPITAL WATER SUPPLY. [BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J TAURANGA. Thursday. The Tauranga Borough Cxjnncil met last evening. The Mayor reported that an agreement had been reached between representatives of the Electric-Power Board and the Borough Council in regard to questions concerning both bodies. The quest ; on of additional parking areas for motor-cars was referred to the inspector to report upon. It was decided not to accede to the request of the Hospital Board for the supply of water free of charge to the Tauranga Hospital. Mr. I). A. Ivory was appointed to represent the council on the Fire Board in place of Mr. J. Martin, who has resigned. It was agreed to vote £lO toward the deficit in connection with the Auckland provincial court at the New Zealand Exhibition.
