The departure of. the Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa for Sydney has been fixed for eleven o'clock to-morrow morning. The vessel is berthed at Central Wharf. ROTORUA AT CURACAO. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua, which sailed from Wellington on September 11, has arrived at Curacao. THE CITY OF CANTON. The City of Canton, which left New York on September 28 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton., Dunedia and Portland, arrived at Colon o:i Tuesday. OTIMAI DELAYED AT OPOTIKI. The Northern Company advises that its steamer Otimai is still delayed at Opotiki owing to heavy seas on the bar. It is not yet known when she will be able to isuve for Auckland. THE MAKURA. The Royal Mail steamer Makura was Scheduled to leave Son Francisco yesterday for Wellington and Sydney. She is due. at Papeete on October 16, and should arrive at Wellington on October 25. The vessel is expected to leave Wellington for Sydney on October 26. HEAVY SEAS ON MANUKAU BAR. Heavy seaa were experienced on the Mariuknu Bar yesterday. Winds were south-westerly, and at one time it was feared the bar would bo unworkable. However, the Nsapuhi from New Plymouth managed to cross with comparative ease, but late last evening it was reported the bar was still doubtful. HUNTINGDON'S ARRIVAL. The New' Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Huntingdon arrived at Auckland from Liverpool late last evening, anchoring in the stream. The Colonial Sugar Company's steamer Ron a, which has been discharging sugar at Chelsea, moved into the stream yesterday in order that the Tofua might occupy her berth to unload a small amount of sugar. The Rona will return to Chelsea when the Tofua crjiea back to Queen's Wharf this morning, and after she ban unloaded the on'nnce of her cargo will sail for Fiji next, week. ISLAND YACHT STILL OVERDUE. Advice received in Auckland yesterday states the cutter-rigged vacbt Otufeiinife, which left Nurnuka in the Haapai Group on September 22 for Nukualofa, is still overdue. Masters of vessels leaving for this locality are requested to keep a look-out and report to the harbourmaster at Nukualofa. lONIC'S DEPARTURE.To loarl for England, the Shaw, Savill ft|ui Albion liner lonic left Auckland for Timaru yesterday afternoon. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Hacking left Auckland yesterday afternoon . for Wellington. The Union Company's motor ship Hauraki is expected to arrive at Auckland on October 18. from Pacific Coast Canadian ports. After discharging she will go to Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaido and Sydney. WAIOTAPU'S DEPARTURE. In continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast. American ports, the Union Company's steamer Waiotapu is scheduled to sail for Wellington at five o'clock this - " evening. After discharge the vessel will go to Melbourno and Sydney. THE KAIWARRA. With cargo from Melbourne and Adelaide, the Union Company's steamer Kaiwarra was duo at New Plymouth yesterday. The Royal Mail steamer Niagara is expected to arrive at Suva frcrn Vancouver early to-morrow morning and to sail at noon for Auokland. Union Company advises that tho steamer Katoa arrived -at Dunedin on Tuesday morning. She is scheduled to sail this afternoon for Oamnrit, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. With heavy passenger bookings, the Northern Company's steamer Clansman left for Whangarei last evening, Most of the passengers were bound for the Whangarei races, and the vessel will _ leave, again at fen o'clock to-morrow evening with passengers for the second day's raCcs. STROMA'S DEPARTURE DELAYED. The departure of the steamer Stroma for Nauru and Ocean Islands, via Westport, where she will replenish bunkiers, has been delated. The vessel may not get away until Monday, Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane are the local agents. WINGATUI FROM MELBOURNE. The local office of the Union Company advises that the steamer Winpatui is expected to arrive at Auckland from Melbourne about Saturday. NUCULA IN DOCK. » The Admiralty tanker Nucula went into dock yesterday for cleaning and painting prior to leaving for San Pedro to load another cargo of case oil for discharge into the Admiralty oil tanks at Devonport. THE TOFUA. The Union Company s Island steamer Tofua, which is to sail for Western Pacific Islands on Saturday, went to Chelsea yesterday morning to discharge sugar. She will return to Queen's Wharf this morning to load for the Islands. This trip, the Tofua will cnll at Levuka after leaving Suva en route for Nukualofa. TARANSAY DUE THIS AFTERNOON. The local agents, Robert Millar and Company. have received advice that tho American steamer Taransay, with sulphur from Texas, will arrive at Auckland this afternoon. It is hoped to despatch her for New Plymouth to-morrow afternoon, and from there she will go to Newcastle. KIWITEA ARRIVED. With a cargo from Adelaido and Napier, the Union Company's steamer Kiwitea arrived at Auckland yesterday morning, berthing at Prince's Wharf. The vessel comes to Auckland from Wellington and Napier, where she has also been discharging Australian cargo.
