ONE TREE HILL DISTRICT.
MEETING OF ROAD BOARD.
The One Trpe Hill Road Board met. last evening, the chairman, Mr. R. O. Clark, presiding. The building inspector reported that during the past three weeks 29 building permits had been issued, the total value being £16.453. Of these, 15 were for houses involving £14,581 and two for shops costing £7OO. Reference to the bad state of Rockfield Road was made in letters received from two residents. Tt. was decided to reply that nothing could lie done this year, but that the question of forming (he road would be reviewed next year.
The engineer reported that metalling and tar-sealing works had been carried out in Wheturangi Road, Ml. SI. John Avenue, Clyde Street, and Williamson .Street.
