ANOTHER FATALITY.
CAR PLUNGES INTO RIVER.
TWO OCCUPANTS DROWNED

(Reed. 32.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 30. A motor-car near Bourke, 503 miles north-west of Sydnoy, plunged into the river. Two men, Messrs. W. Jones and T. Curtis wero drowned. Tho two victims had been out for a drive with Mr. Richard Luscombe, hotelkeeper of Bourko. They were returning home, when the driver mistook tho road and drove down a turning leading to the river.
Before tho mistake was discovered tho car fell 20ft. over an embankment into the river.
As it fell it turned over, pinning the occupants beneath it in shallow water.
JNlr. Luscombe extricated himself and made his way to a farm in the vicinity. He was in a delirious state and could uot tell a coherent story.
