MATCH AT KING'S COLLEGE. DRAW .WITH MR. BEALE'S TEAM. Good form was displayed when tho King's College first eleven and tho Will o' the Wisps, selected by Mr. E. C. Bcale. played ft friendly game of cricket at the colleeo grounds, Middlemore, oil Wednesday. Tho match resulted in a draw. M.uch of tho success of tho came was duo to the splendid condition of the wicket. Cricket is now in full at the college, eight practico nets being m commission, while ft fine stock of now playing material has been imported. Dotails of tho gamo aro as follow:
THE PUKEKOHE CLUB. [BY TELKGILVI'H.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] PUKEKOHE, Tlmi.'ic'ay. The annual meeting of tho Pukekohe Cricket Club was held laat evening, Mr, J. P. Deano presiding. Tho financial statement, submitted by tho seorctary, Mr. J. K. Bonnor, showed a I debit balance on last year's working of £7. Against this tho club had assets valued at about £25. Tho following officers were oloctedPresident, Mr. J. Iloulnton; vice-presidents, Dr. Begg, Dr. Bull, and Messrs. John Routly:, J. H. Sumner. R. F, Wilkinson. J. T. Stembridge, and F. Perkins; necret&ry, Mr. Bonner; treasurer, Mr. Deane; committeemen, Messrs. A. V. Fox. J. Hall, J. R, Rodgcrs, and Bonnor; delegates to Pukekohe Cricket Association, Messrs. G. Payne, Rodgers, and Bonnor. A vote of thanks to Mr. Deane for his help to tho younger players laat soxson was recorded. Another club having been formod in Pukekohe it. was decided that the Pukokohe Club this season should enter only one team in tho association's oompefititioxia.
