TAURANGA CLUB. A SATISFACTORY POSITION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J TAURANGA, Thursday. Tho annual meeting of the Tauranga Rowing Club was hold last evening. Tho report staled that tho club was in a very good position, its equipment including two four-oar practice boats, one racing four (clinker built), two practice pair oar boats and one racing pair oar boat. Two members of tho club possess singlo sculling boats. Tho balance-sheet disclosed a satisfactory position, tho excess of assets over liabilities being £270. , A vote of sympathy was papsed with the relatives of the late Mr. C. C Norris who was a valued vico-prosideni and lceoii supporter of tho club. Officers were elected as follow :-Patron. Mr. C. E. Mactnillan, MP.; president. Mr. P. P.. Carter; captjin. Mr. C.
