TRAINING AT RANDWICK. YESTERDAY'S WORK. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Sept, 30. The final gallops at Randwick this morning wore carried out under adverse conditions. Heavy rain fell throughout, making the going heavy. Fast times were, therefore, out of the question. , ... On the middle grass track, ten feet from the inner rail. Rapine covered sSven furlongs in 1.27. First four taking 60Js. Limerick was a length ahead of Count Cavou.' at the end of eight furlongs, which wore covered in 1.4815. Limerick shaped well. The first four furlongs took 525. Star Stranger put in a strong working gallop of eight furlongs, and moved along nicely. , Royal Tea and Midlothian were together at the end of seven furlongs, which was run in 1.32, with Royal Tea going the better at the finish. The Hawk did seven furlongs nicely in 1.33'5. , , Young Lochinvar moved freely over five furlongs in 1.53®5. Vitality covered nine furlongs in 2.255. Pantheon had much the better of Rampion over ten furlongs in 2.275. Windbag held Stoney safely over five furlongs in 1.315. ' Amounis ran the iast four furlongs of a useful mile in 565. .
