A SALE OF SECTIONS.
[by telegraph.—own correspondent. ] » WELLINGTON. Thursday. Bidding was brisk to-day *at a sale of 32 residential sites, part of a block in the Hutt Valley settlement. The sections, vary in area from 26 perches to approximately half-an-acre, brought a total price of £12,600, or £2OOO above the reserve price. The highest price at which a section was bought was £740 for an area of 1 rood 12.9 perches. The lowest price was £335. Every section was sold. The sections'were bought by tho Crown from tho Riddifo'J family, and form a part of the HuttVVallev town planning scheme. *
