JUBILEE MISSION.
SERVICES AT ST. PATRICK'S.
St. Patrick's Cathedral has never held a larger .congregation than that which assembled last evening for tho devotions in honour of the Blessed Sacrament of tho Eucharist. The Rev. Father Spillane, S.M., preached on tho doctrine 1 of "The Real Presenco," basing tho beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church in that behalf on the actual words and promises of tho Scriptures. A procession of tho Blessed Sacrament preceded Benediction, at which Ilia Lordship Dr. Lisfcon officiated, assisted by Rev. lathers Skinner (Otahuhn) and O Connor (Takapuna) as deacoir and subdeacon. the lengthy and inspiring procession included acolytes, school children, Children of Mary-, Guards of Honour, Big Brothers, Hibernians and a larg« number of clergy. Tho mission will conclude on Sunday This evening the Very Rev. Father McCarthy will preach on " Three Mountains We All Must Climb," and special services arc announced.
