BUTTER AND CHEESE.
TARANAKI PRODUCERS' CO. CAPITAL TO BE INCREASED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the Taranaki Producers' Freezing Works Company yesterday, the report stated that last year 214,358 boxes of butter, and 204,839 crates of cheese had been handled, compared with, 230,G06 boxes of butter, and 191,016 crates of cheese in the previous year. A resolution was carried increasing the capital by the issue of 2000 new shares of £lO each to provide for future development. Subsequently a presentation was made to Mr. I). K. Morrison, who retires from the position of manager and engineer after 25 years' service with the company.
