SALVATIONISTS' BIRTHDAY
GATHERING AT WHANGAREI. [by TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. J WHANGAREI, Friday. The thirty-fourth anniversary of the Salvation Army in Whangarei was celebrated by a birthday tea party in the Madeira Hall last evening, when there was a large attendance. The tables ■were provided by the Salvation Army the Maungakaramea outpost, , and tlip' W.C.T.U. Lieut.-Colonel Toorner was among those present. The party was followed by a successful concert in the Britannia Theatre.
