FREEZING WORKS DISPUTE.
AN AGREEMENT REACHED. [by telegraph.—PßESS ASSOCIATION.S HAWERA. Friday. An agreement has been reached by the Disputes Committee in Wellington regarding the dispute ret the I'atea Freezing Works with reference to the billing of day-old calves, and this class of work will bo resumed on Monday. It is understood the men will receive an increased rate, but, under the new scheme of work, slaughtermen will he without the assistance of labourers, who were previously supplied.
