DANGEROUS MOTORIST.
FINED FOR DRUNKENNESS. ALLEGED INSULIN OVERDOSE. . < \ ' LONDON. Aug. 13. Dr. James Glover/ a West End physician, was charged at the Marylebone Police Court to-day with driving a car at midnight while drunk. <: It was stated that he drove along a footpath, crossed the street, hit a lamp post, returned and . ran into the.wall on the opposite side. He pleaded that he was suffering from an overdose of insulin. Four doctors who gave evidence stated that symptoms of insulin poisoning could he confused 'with alcoholic poisoning. One agreed that a motorist who had taken an overdose of insulin was a public danger and should not- be at large driving a car. Dr. Glover; was fined £3O, and disqualified from driving for a year. 'He has lodged an appeal. <
