VICTORIAN EDUCATION. DEPARTMENT SEEKS ABROAD A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE. Aug? 25. Applications have been .called for in Britain (or secondary school teachers for. the Victorian Education Department. More than 500 requests for particulars have been received. • The Minister of Education, Sir/ Alexander Peacock, stated in the Legislative Assembly that it was only after the department had advertised without result throughout Australia and New Zealand,, that it was decided to seok abroad for teachers. .
