Aug. 25. ;; Despatches from Athens state that Admiral Paul Koundouriotis has resumed office as President of Greece. The Athens correspondent of the Daily Herald says that on taking office again Koundouriotis said it was for the last time and only until the situation becomes normal again. The. leader of the latest revolution, General Kondylis, has accepted the pest of Minister of War; No further steps have been taken to form a Coalition Government. General Kondylis has sent the following cablegram to the Daily' Express: "I have invited the party chiefs to examine the situation to-day. The first proposal was the formation of a Coalition Cabinet.

"Please believe that I have no other personal ambition than to restore the political rights of this oppressed nation. I should even be djsposed not to take part in the Government. "I am of the people, working for the people. I hate dictatorships and I desire justice without the intrusion of personal hatred. I am a soldier, not a judge. "I shall invite the president of the Supreme Court to preside over a Commission to deal with the question of punishing the guilty." A reliable report from the Greek capital states that as it was feared that attempts would be made on the life of the deposed Dictator, General Pangalos, if he were kept in Athens he has been temporarily exiled to the island of Santorin, in the /Egean Sea, with M. Theroulis, formerly Minister of War. They will bo kept there until the Court has been established which is to try them.

The Athens correspondent of the Central News Agency confirms the fact that General Fangalos was transferred to the /Egean Sea in order to secure his safety. There was an angry demonstration in the city when the crowd recognised him as he was being taken away.
