CHARGES AGAINST TRAINER. [BY TELEGRAPH. —-PRESS ASSOCIATION.,] CHRISTCHURCH. Friday. Nine charges of having issued valueless cheques were preferred against . Cyril George Fitch, a trainer, aged 34 years, who' appeared in' the Magistrate's' Court this - morning before Mr. H. A. Young, SaM. The 'total "amount of cheques was £52 17s 3d.. Six .were aljeged to have been issued in LeitMeld, two in Papanui arid one in Amberley; ' Fitch pleaded not guilty to all charges and elected to be dealt with by the magis : trate. ': . '
On the application of Chief-Detective Gibson a week s remand was granted/ Bail was allowed in sdf -£IOO, with a surety of £IOO.
