EDUCATION APPOINTMENT.
CAREER OF DR, SLOGOJ/IBE, Dr. C. Spencer Slocombe, B.Sc. (New Zealand), Ph. Di (London), who has. been, appointed lecturer in psychology at th,o Auckland Teachers' Training Collejjo, is a native of New Zealand. He is at present vice-principal of the Training College at Siehra Leone, West Africa. Dr, Slo-, combe was born at Gore, and was educated at the • Southland Boys' High School, afterwards going to Canterbury College, where ho took his B.Sc. Re was for some time rosearch officer in the. Forestry Department, J and later went to England, where ho received his degree of doctor, of philosophy.' Ho received his appointment to Sierra Leone about a year ago.
