NOVA SCOTIAN WRECKS.
SEARCH FOR SURVIVORS.
SMALL CRAFT WASHED ASHORE Renter. HALIFAX, Aug. 12. All the information available confirms the fear that the 25 fishermen who have been missing since the fishing schooner Sylvia (Captain John Mosher) was wrecked off Sable Island, at the southern end of Nova Scotia, on Saturday were drowned. A Government steamer which is looking for possible survivors sent a wireless message to-day stating that the fog had lifted and the search was proceeding.
Eight fishing vessels and 20 dories (fiat-bottomed boats) have ' been washed ashore in the hurricane.
