TOWN BOARD NOTICES. LYNN TOWN DISTRICT. SPECIAL ORDER AMENDING BY-LAWS. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the New Lynn Town Board hold on the 9th day of August, 1926, thi following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at the Ordinary Meeting of tne Board to be held on MONDAY, nhe 13th day of September, 1920, in the Board Office, New Lynn, at 7.30 p.m., viz.:— " That whereas by certain by-laws of the New Lynn Town Board made by Special Order pursuant to a Resolution passed on the 12th day of November, 1917, end confirmed on the 17th day of December, 1917. provision was made prescriDing the fee or fees payable for and on the issue of a Building Permit for the erection of any building, or for the addition, alteration or repairs to any building; and whereas it has become di-siiablo Ho alter and amend such fee or fees payable and to amend the said by-laws accordingly, now the Now L?nn Tewn Board. pursuant to the powers and authorities conferred upon it by "The Town Boards Act, 1908," and ana-nd-ments thereto, "The Munoipal Corporations Act, 1920," and of all otter the powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby ordain as follows: "No person shall build, erect or cause to bo built or oreoted within the New Lynn Town District any building or predion ia the nuturo of a bt-il'Jing, or addition, alterations <~r repairs to any building, without having first obtained the written permission of the Bourd in the form Ko. 4 set forth in the Schedule to the inid by lov,s (hereinafter referred to as a Building Permit), to bo granted in tne marner prescribed by Paragraph 32 of the said by-laws, and the provisions of the said by-laws relating to houses, shops or new buildings shall apply to all buildings and erections in the nature of buildings within the said Town District. " Paragraph 32 of the said by-lav/a is heroby amended by the deletion of tho words "ten shillings" and "five shillings" and all other words and clauses relating to and prescribing tho fees payable for a Building Permit, and such paragraph 32 shall be read and construed as varied. by this amendment and as if the fees mentioned below had been set out in such paragraph 32. " The applicant for such permission shall, at the time of making application for the issue of a Building Permit, pay to the New Lynn Town Board, the ' following fee 3; that is to say—- £ b. d. In respect of a building of a value not exceeding £IOOO, a fee of . 0 5 0 If such value is above £IOO but does not exceed £250, a fee of 0 7 0 If 3uch value is above £250 but does not exceed £SOO, a fee of 0 10 0 If such value is above £SOO but does not exceed £750, a fee of .. .. .. 015 0 If such value is above £750 but does not exceed £IOOO, a fee of 10 0 If such value exceeds £IOOO " but does not exceed £2OOO, a fee of .. . .. •. 110 0 If auch value exceeds £2OOO, a fee of 2 0 0 The following fees shall be payable with respect to Plumbing Work, whether with or without drainage work:— £ s. d.
