IRISH BARONET'S FATE.
DEATH IN AUSTRALIA. SUCCESSOR A WORKMAN. A. and N.Z. ADELAIDE. Aug. 12. The death has occurred in a mental hospital of Sir James Stephen Goold, an Irish baronet. Until 13 years ago Sir James was employed lor many years as a ganger on the South Australian railways. The successor to the baronetcy is Mr. George Goold, who has been an employee at the Port Pirie smelting works for many years. Deceased maintained the secret of his title which was only disclosed through a tragedy at Monte Carlo in 1907 in which some of his relatives were involved. The late Sir James S. Goold was born on October 13, 1848. He was a son of Mr. G. Ignatius Goold, formerly a Waterford magistrate. He went to Australia in 1863 and he succeeded his uncle, the third baronet, in 1893 His heir, George P. Goold, was born in Adelaide in July, 1878 ' .
