NEW STRAND PREMISES. DELAY IN OCCUPATION. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Aug. 11. The High Commissioner for New Zealand, Sir James Farr, announces that negotiations Avith the tenants on the ground floor of the new building recently purchased in the Strand for the New Zealand office have not been successful in inducing them to vacate the premises. The occupation of the building by the High Commissioner and his staff is therefore likely to be delayed for four years, until the leases expire. In the meantime the other rooms must ,be let on short leases.
