THE TOTAL REGISTRATIONS. MAJORITY IN NORTH ISLAND. [BY TELEGBAPH.— SPECIAL &EPORTER.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. A return issued by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. R. F. Bollard, today, showed that the registrations of motor vehicles up to the end of last month total 142,678. The following are the particulars of the vehicles registered : North Island.—Cars, 57,757; trucks, etc., 13,507; cycles, 16,469; total, 87,733. South Island.—Cars, 36,174; trucks, etc., 5958; cycles, 12,813; total, 54,945.
