TRAM ACCIDENTS.

Sir,—The death of Mrs. Craig, resulting from stepping from a moving tramcar—she having boarded a Mount Eden car in mistake for a Mount Albert carwarrants the suggestion that the "Mt." should be painted out of the destination signs of one and let it remain "Albert" only. The mistake is made very often and many will rush to rectify it, getting off too hurriedly. So cheap and simple an alteration might avert such accidents, for which the hurried glance and the "Mt." are responsible. Old Suburbanite.
