Having pleaded guilty last week to charges of obtaining goods valued at £358 19s 9d from various city warehouses by falsely representing that she was a milliner and owned a shop, Ruby Lucas, a married woman, aged 19, appeared before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday for sentence. OWing to her health accused "was ordered to cpme up for sentence if called upon within six months, being ordered to remain in the Salvation Army Maternity Home in the meantime.
