SETTLERS FOR DOMINION.
LARGE NUMBER TO ARRIVE, MORE PUBLIC SCHOOL BOYS. A total of 380 assisted immigrants arrived at Wellington from England by the Athenic on Sunday evening, the new arrivals including 34 domestic servants, 76 single farm labourers, 20 public school boys for the Taranaki district, and six girls who have been brought out under the sheepowners' scheme. The last-men-tioned are from South Shields and Portsmouth. Among the schools represented by the party of schoolboys are Wellington College, George Heriol; School (Edinburgh), Imperial Service School (Wind--8or), Watford Grammar School and Brockley School. There are 1200 assisted immigrants en route to New Zealand. Tho Rotorua is due at Wellington next Saturday with 250, the Corinthic at Auckland on August 23 with 300, tho Rimutaka at Lyttelton on August 30 with 350 and the Remuora at Wellington on September 4 with 300.
