RAGLAN DAIRY COMPANY.

INCREASE IN OUTPUT. [BY TELEGRAPH". —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Monday. In the report to be submitted to the 21st annual meeting of the Raglan Cooperative Dairy Company, Ltd., the directors state that for the season just closed a total of 229 tons 3cvvt. of butter was manufactured, an increase of 29 tons over tho output, of the previous year. Of this, 116 toils was sold at Is 5.29 d, f.o. b., and 113 tons remains in store or is afloat. A 1200-gallon cork-insulated vat was installed during the year. The company's finances are reported to bo sound, there being no debt on the property or plant. A reduction in the cost of transport was shown. Raglan butter had been described by the Government graders in London as "excellent in flavour and quality " and had realised the highest prices ruling. A credit balance of £2248 14s 7tl was shown in the profit and loss account. The directors recommended a further payment of lJ,d, thus bringing the average pay-out for the season up to Is 4§d. Messrs. J. N, Newton, T. Parker, A. Peart and 0. W. Ralfe retire by rotation, but are eligible for re-election.
