WHALING FACILITIES.
IMPERIAL CONSIDERATION. A. and N.Z. LONDON. July 29. The Under-Secretary for the Colonies, Mr. W. Ormsby-Gore, stated in the House of Commons, in reply to a question, that he was not aware that New Zealand had protested against the facilit.es allowed to foreigners to slaughter whales in New Zealand waters. However, the question of co-operation between the Governments of those parts of the Empire which were concerned with the protection of whales was now being discussed.
