BISHOP OF LONDON.
TOUR OF THE EMPIRE. MODERN CRUSADE STARTED. Beater. ' LONDON, July 29. The Bishop of London, the Right Rev. A F. Winnington Ingram, started to-day on what he describes as a modern crusade to promote the work of the Church and its co-operation in Empire settlement. He will visit Canada, the United States, Japan, China, the Malay Peninsula, Australia, Now Zealand and Ceylon. The bishop bears a special message to the churches of the Empire from the Archbishop of Canterbury.
