RUGBY FOOTBALL.
EDEN PARK CHARITY MATCH. A charity match between Ponsonby and the Rest of Auckland will form the main Rugby attraction at Eden Park this afternoon. The match is practically a representative trial, as all the best Auckland players wil' be engaged in view of the Auckland team's Southern tour, which commences shortiy. The type of game clayed by the champion club team is well-known for its spectacular, fast and open qualities, and with the advantage of knowing each other's play, the Ponsonby players should prove formidable opponents for the pick of the other Auckland clubs.
