REFORM LEAGUE BRANCH.

A meeting of the -women's branch of the New Zealand Political Reform League was held in the Municipal Chambers, Newmarket, yesterday afternoon. In the absence of the president, Mrs. A. M. Ferguson, Dr. Hilda Northcroft took' the chair.

Reports of the annual meeting of the New Zealand Political Reform League held recently in Wellington, were given by Dr. Buckley Turkington and Mrs. C'adoux, who attended as delegates from the Auckland branch. Dr. Buckley Turkington dealt at some length with the revised constitution of tho league. Mrs. Cadoux stated the Prime Minister. Mr. Coates, had accepted the office of patron, and had expressed his interest and appreciation regarding the formation of the women's branch. He promised to take the opportunity of addressing the branch on his next"visit to Auckland.
