THE RODNEY SHOW.
A SATISFACTORY PROSPECT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] W ARK WORTH, Tuesday. Arrangements have been made tb lease for a period of years, at a peppercorn rental, a portion of the land belonging to the Rodney Agricultural Society, adjoining the show ring. This land has been idle for some years and various means have been devised from time to time to bihg it into use, but without success. Under the new scheme the lessee will, at the end of the period of his lease, hand the land back clean and in good grass. Details in connection with the next show are well in hand. It was reported at the last meeting of the society that a very satisfactory canvass had been made in Auckland, with a result that a considerable number of donations had been promised.
