WIDENING DOMINION ROAD.
MOUNT ROSKSLL PROPOSAL. A recommendation that in the framing of the new by-laws provision should be made for setting back all buildings 7ft. from the present frontages in Dominion Road, having regard to the probab!r> future widening of the thoroughfare, was made to the Mount Roskill Road Board last evening by its building inspector. The suggestion was adopted, the chairman remarking that Dominion Road would become a very important business thorough fare. A new by-law will bo prepared accordingly.
