Public Notice i 3 hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Tamaki Road Board, held on THURSDAY. the Bth day of July. 1926, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the said Board to be held at the Board's Office. St. Heliers, on THURSDAY, the 12th day of August, 1926: — " RESOLUTION." In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by " The' Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913. and its Amendments and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Tamaki Road Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: First.—To borrow the sum of Four hundred and seventy-five pounds, being ten per centum additional Loan for the purpose of completing new Offices, Fire Brigade and Bathing Sheds. Such Loan to be called the Tamaki Road Board Offices, Fjre Brigade and Bathing Sheds 10 per cenC Additional Loan. Second.—That the currency of the Loan shall be for a period of ' 36} years, commencing on the First day of August. 1926. and maturing on the First clay of February, 1963. Third.—That interest on the said Loan shall be at a rate hot exceeding six pounds per centum per annum and be payable naif-yearly on the Ist day of March and September in each year. Fourth.—That for the purpose of providing interest. sinking: fund and other charges on the said Loan of Four hupdred and seventy-five pounds the .said Board hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one one hundred and twentyeighth of a penny in the pound on the Capital - Value of all rateable property in the whole of the Tamaki Road District. Such Special Rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the Loan and be payable yearly on the 16th day of July, during the currency of the Loan being a period of' 361 years or until the Loan is fully paid off. Fifth.—That the cost of raising the Loan nnd the interest and sinking fund for the first year shall be paid out of the Loan. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by " The Local Bodies' Loanß Act, 1913. and its Amendments, and Section 32 of " The Auckland City and Auckland "Museum Empowering Act, 1924," the Tamaki Road Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: First.—To borrow the sum of one hundred thousand pounds for the purpose of paying the Board's contribution toward the building of a Waterfront Road to Auckland, such loan to be called the Tamaki Road Board " Waterfront Road Loan. 1926." Second.—That the currency of the Loan shall be for a period of 36J years, commencing on the First day of August, 1926, and maturing on the First day of February, 1963. Third.—That interest on the said Loan shall be at a rate not exceeding six pounds per centum per annum and be payable half-yearly on the Ist day of March and September- in each year. Fourth.—That for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan of .£IOO.OOO the said Board hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one penny and one-eighth of a penny (1 l-8d) in the pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property in the whole of the Tamaki Road District, such special rate shall be an anrtully recurring rate during the currency of the Loan and be payable yearly on the 16th day of July during the currency of the Loan being a period of 361 years or until the Loan is fujly paid off.
