TESTING OF HERDS.
THE " DOWNRIGHT FOOLS."
Speaking at the annual meeting of the Taihape Co-operative Dairy Company, Mr. A. Crawford said that some of the suppliers were not troubling much about testing. " The man who doesn't test his herd," declared Mr. Crawford, "is a downright fool.". The Chairman, Mr. J. A. Hehderson; Yes. In spite of the fact ihat the testing is done free of charge, very little was done last year. Mr. E, W. Spooner: Advanage was not taken of, the new scheme last year, because it was not a year for testing. Mr. Crawford: Quite correct, but the man who runs a herd without testing ii is going to come a cropper. It was decided to urge the suppliers to have their herds tested.
