PRESENTATION.
Mr. W. Porter, who for the last 27 years has been stationed at the Auckland Telegraph Office, and was a well-known figure at the telegraph counter, has been promoted and transferred to Christchurch. Before leaving Auckland his fellow officers presented him with a travelling rug.
