ACCIDENTAL EXPLOSION.
VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] RAETIHI. Monday. Injuries received by Mr. John Louden, aged 75 years, through an accidental explosion of gelignite' at Oreore on July 3, resulted in his death at the local hospital yesterday afternoon. No hope of recovery was; entertained from the outset, owing to the nature of the woojids, some of which were caused by flying fragments of roofing iron. Mr. Louden had been unconscious nearly all the past week.
