GOVERNMENT CONTRACT.

The Mayor of Tauranga, Mr. B.- Dive, and the borough engineer, Mr. C. W. Boak, have returned from a visit to Wellington, where they were successful in making a further contract with the Government for the supply of electric current from the Tauranga municipal plant over the Waikino connection.
