ACCIDENT IN GORGE.
DRIVER'S FATAL MISTAKE. [by telegraph.—press association.] NAPIER. Saturday. At the inquest concerning the death of Mr. Edwin Phillips, who was killed by falling over the Matahora Gorge in a motor-lorry, the coroner said that- the affair was entirely accidental. The evidence showed that deceased, instead of turning a corner,, drove straight on and fell 100 ft.
