SALE OF NATIVE LAND.
ABOUT £17,700 TO BE PAID. [by telegraph.—press association.] HASTINGS. Saturday. The Maori Land Board yesterday confirmed a resolution passed by the native owners of the Puketitiri Block for the sale of the block to the Crown. Next Thursday promises to be a redletter day for the Maoris, for the Native Land Purchase Board will pay out about £17,700 as purchase money for the block. The Hastings business people especially are looking forward to Thursday,
